More Phu Quoc!!!

Phu Quoc is an untouched island paradise.

We LOVE the people! We LOVE the food! We LOVE the sights! We LOVE the life!

Everything here simply puts it all in prospective! What a beautiful life this all is.

We went to the north of the island on a motorbike and explored! We had an audience when we ate our fresh seafood meal as we spoke our best Vietnamese! The prawns, the squid, the fish were all to die for! And the view...oh the views! On our way to our seafood extraveganza we stopped at some private beaches. There is not a soul in site for miles! It is truly incredible. On our way home, there was about an hour of jungle on either side of us, with no one else on the road. This really is an untouched paradise!

We got 1 hour massages today for about $30 for the both of us...that apparently is splurging, and we have decided that we will do this everyday! Baboo, the monkey, is still in our future (Sara is obsessed)! Today we walked into town to look at the local market. There are chickens on platforms, ducks, and fresh fish. Vegetables are everywhere!

Tonight was dinner on the beach as the sun sets.

Tomorrow we will go back over to our fancy hotel, La Veranda. We want to finish the honeymoon out over there in style! Although we have fallen in love with the people here at Cassia! We love Phuong and Ana!

We did have a battle with 2 VERY large cockroaches here last night in our bathroom! Peter was victorious! Methods included an electronic tennis racket, a flip flop, and our bug spray!
And something is attacking us for sure...we like to call them "microscopic jellyfish" but we can't be too sure! Basically we are both covered in small red dots that itch A LOT!!!!! The hotel has given us cortesone cream that we are using VERY liberally!!!
Could be microscopic jellyfish, could be bed bugs, the jury is still out!

Sara now has a mask to wear when riding the motorbike and is completely turned into a local!!!! See pics below! She is the one in disguise!
