fun on the private island

So Peter found this little gem randomly online and boy what a find! We took a taxi from the airport to the Nha Trang harbour where we were dropped off at a dock! We got on a speedboat and then taken on a 5 minute ride to a beautiful island paradise! The resort staff met us at the pier with a golf cart! The water was pristine and blue blue blue!

The resort has about 30 thatched roof bungalows all on the hillside overlooking the ocean. Each room has a patio and panoramic ocean views and an outdoor bathroom which giant oval marble tubs! And showers that you share with the frog residents! We just LOVED it here! Days were spent flopping between the clear ocean to the relaxing bamboo hammocks while sipping drinks!

The weather was fantastic...but VERY VERY hot and no wind at all! about 35C or around 105F!

The people who worked here were so sweet and we loved them all! The only bad thing was the first night we left our camera either on our dinner table or at a hammock and we never found it! Boo :(
BUT, in typical generous Vietnamese fashion, one of the women who worked there, Bahn, took pictures of us on her camera so we could have them and then gave it to us to use for the rest of the day and night! We asked her where to get the cord, and she gave us hers! There aren't even enough good things we can say about the people we meet!

The food was nowhere as good as our Hoi An families foods though!

There was a band from the Philipenes that played at night on a gazeebo suspended over a pond. We got MUCH satisfaction out of this...listening to their attempts at 80's ballads was the best!

They even took requests, to which they would then take a short break, look it up online and then do their best to sing it! Pretty incredible for sure! As you can imagine, we got a lot of laughs out of this entertainment!

It was VERY hard to leave paradise, but on to Mui Ne.
